Strathpeffer

Strathpeffer spa Golf Club was founded in 1888, one of the original course designers was "the grand old man of golf" Tom Morris of St Andrews, in more recent times Peter Allis has described the course as a jewel in the Highlands of Scotland.

The rewards of panoramic views down the Peffery valley to the Black Isle and from the upper end of the golf course, westward to the Fannich hills are an education in the natural beauty of the Scottish countryside. It is, arguably, the most scenic golf course in the North of Scotland, which is regularly confirmed by visitors from around the world.

Of course, when the grand shots have been played and the tricky putts holed one can reflect on them in the informal and friendly atmosphere of the clubhouse whilst enjoying the traditional highland hospitality.

And our claim to fame? The drive on the first hole from tee to green features the longest drop on any course in Scotland.
