Letham Grange

Opened in 1987 by Sir Henry Cotton and widely acclaimed as one of the premier courses in Scotland, the Old course provides a blend of tree-lined parkland and open rolling fairways. With its two contrasting but complementary golf courses, Letham Grange is a hugely rewarding destination for any golfing holiday or golf break in the Angus area.

The Old has gained a reputation as one of the toughest inland courses in Scotland and, with a par 73, water featuring on most holes and measuring almost 7,000-yards from the back tees, this reputation is justified. The stand out holes are the eighth and the 10th.  The eighth hole is a 160-yard par three which is all carry over water and has been compared to the 12th at Augusta National. The 10th is a tricky par four with an elevated tee and a tough second shot over water to the green.

The clubhouse at Letham Grange was originally a Victorian Mansion House. It has been converted into a 4 star hotel with separate bars for golfers.

Glen Course

The Glens Course opened in July 1991. It is a challenging par 68 18-hole course, spanning 5528 yards, shorter and a little less demanding than the existing Championship course. It features some beautiful landscaping and new tree and shrub plantations and surprisingly no water hazards.
The finishing holes from the 13th onwards are to be savoured, and are tighter and more demanding than the first 12. The course is not the longest you'll ever play but you need to think your way round the course if you are to be rewarded with a good score. The Glens Course is a fantastic contrast to the Old Course and can make for a terrific day's golf.
