Monifieth Golf Links

The two Monifieth courses offer golf for all levels with the larger course, The Medal, elected by the Royal and Ancient GC of St. Andrews as a final qualifying course for the 2007 Open Championship.

This course has recently undergone a 3 year recovery programme under the head greenkeeper Scott Rennie and is in excellent condition with well grassed narrow running fairways, lush semi-rough, penal heavy rough and fast consistent greens not to mention the deep revetted bunkers to test any standard of golfer.

Monifieth is sandwiched between two marvellous Open Championship courses in St. Andrews to the South, and Carnoustie to the East.

Medal Course - The Medal Course is a natural heath/links course with a fair share of hazards including new deep riveted bunkers.

The well grassed narrow running fairways, lush semi-rough, penal heavy rough and fast consistent greens will test any standard of golfer.

Ashludie Course - A compact and challenging test of golf, the Ashludie course designed by James Braid requires more brain than brawn, demanding accurate iron shots to the well respected greens.  At just over 5000 yards in length this course offers any golfer immense enjoyment played on its own or as a second round in a days outing.
